The creation of our campervans…
Our prize campervans have been restored by the super duper VW Kampers of West Sussex.
Ian and Mike (the man with glasses on his head is Mike!) searched high and low for the perfect restoration projects of original right hand drive 1970’s British campervans. Over three hectic months they completely renovated the vans with 1600cc air cooled engines, beautiful interiors and glossies exteriors. Have a look at the before and after photos to see the extent of the project.
We absolutely loved Mike and Ian’s attention to detail with new chrome badges, front eye lids, roof rack, bumpers, seals, mirrors, number plates, all new seals all round and even new window seals.
The interiors are all new and fitted with smev stainless steel cooker and sink, 12v fridge, rock and roll bed, slide out table and buddy seat. Along with lovely chequer board flooring and upholstery throughout, carpets, 240v hook up for a little bit of lighting at night and even pretty curtains to give you a home from home feeling.
